spybot 1.6 in windows 98SE?
Maybe this is a dumb question, but I have searched in several sections and didn't find information.
Can the new spybot version run in Windows 98SE or will I have problems then?
p.s. I just installed version 1.6 on my XP Home (SP3) and ran it. It did fine, not too long, no interruptions like before. This makes me HAPPY!

Yes, Spybot-SD 1.6.0.30 is fully functional with Windows 98SE.

No problem, if you scroll down in the link it will say "Windows 98" is supported, although it doesn't specify Second Edition, it is included.
I've upgraded on windows 98 as have some others
if you ever had 1.2 or 1.4 on your system
do a complete uninstall
unimmunize
turn off sdhelper and t-timer
remove from add-remove programs
run the small-fix use search to find it
it's on the spybot removal stickie but i'm not at my machine now so I do not remember which forum
reboot
install 1.6
