virtumonde.sci help please

spybot detected virtumonde.sci after upgrading the other day. I used spybot to clean the file, rebooted, and run spybot again, results came back clean. I then run AVG8 and that was also clean (although it didn't detect virtumonde.sci in the first place).

Problem is I've noticed my dir window browsing has slowed down and I'm wondering if there's a connection? When I go forward or backwards into a dir there's a half second delay or sometimes more before it displays the dir content. This happens even when going back to a dir I've just come from.

So I'm convinced that everything is as clean as spybot/AVG8 is claiming. Can someone please give me advise? Thanks in advance.

A scan of the HJT log shows nothing, my first suggestion is to update to Internet Explorer 7 to see if that help:

Let's run this scan to look for hidden junk:
Download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware to your Desktop

* Double-click mbam-setup.exe and follow the prompts to install the program.
* Be sure a checkmark is placed next to Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and Launch Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware, then click Finish.
* If an update is found, it will download and install the latest version.
* Once the program has loaded, select Perform FULL SCAN, then click Scan.
* When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.
* Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.
* When completed, a log will open in Notepad. Please save it to a convenient location. The log can also be opened by going to Start > All Programs > Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware > Logs > log-date.txt
* Please post contents of that file in your next reply.

I didn't remove the oembios.dat file because there's some discussion at the malwarebytes forum that this is a false positive. I don't know if I've done the right thing or not but there's the log above.

To see if they provide more information. I have the same file on my Windows XP SP2 also.
Been on the computer since 9/03/2002, it's 4.48 KB's No other information in Properties but if your file is the same size it is likely safe.
