Seems like a really good program, esp for my family who kept calling me whenever a registry change took place, how much attention does it require? Aside from updates. And this is just RT scanner right? I uninstalled spybot for now, and will probably keep it this way unless they should get infected again... Thank you for all your help and answers, really appreciated.

One more thing, is there no automatic update for spywareguard, or is it possible to set a schedule in another way?
You do not have to uninstall Spybot, in fact I suggest you do not, it is a good program. I run SpywareGuard along with SpywareBlaster, here are the tutorials for those if you want to view them:

I believe you can get paid for updates but that makes it no longer freeware.
