Spybot is very slow to start
Spybot is slow to start ( four minutes plus) as is the updater.
(I have found a reference to this in old posts but the links for a patch are dead ("delayed user interface startup" http://forums.spybot.info/project.php?issueid=85&page=2 )
I had this problem prior to updating to the newest version but the problem persists.

That report was for an old and the problem was resolved. What version of Spybot - Search & Destroy are you running (Spybot » Help » About)?

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition running on a 2.40GHz Intel® Pentium® 4 Processor with 512 MB of RAM and a 533 MHz System Bus.
I am using v1.6.0.30 . I mentioned the old post because the issue seems similar. Thanks.
