Im not sure if this is possible or if it has been asked for before, but i would love to be able to boot off of a cd and load and modify a registry on a system that wont boot. As it is now, slaving the drive and using regedit to load a hive, then replacing the drive and seeing if what you changed fixed it or not, is alot of work to say the least. I know there's barts pe and knoppix out there, but having just a graphical registry editor that would boot off cd would be great. Maybe regalyzer could do this, maybe not...just thought i'd ask. Closest thing i've seen is offline nt password editor that has a command line registry tool but it's just too time consuming to use.
