Default Question re the "small fix" registry file

    Hi,
I currently have Spybot 1.5 installed on XPHomesp2. If I want to remove it I would use add/remove followed by the "small fix".

I do not have Teatimer installed/running on the computer. I noticed that in the fix/registry file is this line:

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run]
    "SpybotSD TeaTimer"=-

Since TeaTimer is not installed is it alright to use this registry fix? I have the small fix for version 1.4 on another computer which I could copy if that would be a better fix to use.

I would appreciate any advice. Thank you.

    Sincerely, Libra

    Hello,

It is ok to use the small fix.
If you do not have TeaTimer installed it will skip this entry and just delete the other registry entries.

    Best regards

    Hi Sandra,

Thank you so much for explaining that I can still use the small fix.

    Sincerely, Libra
