Default RunAlyzer development path is wrong headed

    Dear Sir,

I don't mean to be rude, but I think that RunAlyzer is seriously wrong-headed in its development path.

The only thing that makes RunAlyzer stand apart from the rest of "Autoruns"-type programs is that it works (partially at least) under WinPE/BartPE.

So, I think the main (and perhaps only) focus of this program should be to improve its behaviour under WinPE.

It's pointless to try to replicate the functionality that we already have in Sysinternals' Autoruns.

In other words, I'm begging you, please don't reinvent the wheel for the umpteenth time! Concentrate on what makes your product unique (WinPE compatibility)!

    Regards.

Well, the last two additions (hosts & browser pages) were added mostly for the do-not-offer-less effect for mwhen it'll replace the Tools section in Spybot-S&D. Offering less would mean a lot of people complaining

It started as a PE tool though, and will continue to receive attention from that side. It's on a recent PE CD by german computer magazine c't for example.

As for the comparison to Autoruns, the classification database is an important part of it as well because it allows to focus on unknown entries. Volunteers to help with that database would be welcome, partly of course because the same database is used by Spybot-S&D as well
