SDWinSec.exe (Unable to execute file:

Hi All,

Can anyone advise / confirm cure for the following?:

When installing Spybot-S&D on my laptop I got massage:

Unable to execute file:
c:\program files\spybot - search & destroy\SDWinSec.exe

CreateProcess failed; code 740
The requested operation requires elevation
--------------------------------------

I note from: http://www.safer-networking.org/en/faq/30.html that DWinSec is labeled: (to install the Security Center integration on Vista),

And it looks as though I can re-attempt to to install this with the command:
C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\SpybotSD.exe /components="SDWinSec

Have I got this right and can it be pasted into the "run" window in Vista?

Is there a reason why SDWinSec did not install?

First Read this FAQ on how to un-install Spybot then Right click the Install file and go to Properties => Compatibility => "Run This File As Administrator" and click "Apply" then Re-Install Spybot and your problems should be solved.
