    Default virtumonde I think

I have run SpyBot S&D 3 times, and repaired 3 times, the last 2 without being connected to the internet. I am still getting hijacked with ads, and I'm still getting a weird registry entry under Windows/currentversion/run called "panolahore" which has different dll names associated.

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Please close this request. I found that there were 3 *.dll_tmp files and one file *.KUB in c:\windows\system32 that matched exactly the creation timestamp (9-5-2008) and size of the random DLLs that kept getting created every time I logged in.

In addition there was a browser helper object installed, that pointed to a DLL dutudari.dll that didn't exist on my husband's PC.

After booting in SAFE mode, I shredded the *.dll_tmp, *.KUB, and dutudari.dll files, and then I was able to remove the registry entries, and they stayed removed.

    All appears well now.
