Ad-aware crashes

Hi, i'm having a problem with ad-aware. Everytime i try and run a scan with it, it gets to this entry in my registry: Typelib\{D149C2B1-25BB-4D8C-9684-2696FDA4AF60} then freezes and when i try to click on the interface or task bar icon the good old 'programme not responding' message comes up and i have to close it. The item it freezes on is the 67679th file it scans. could anybody tell me what's going on?

P.S Ad-aware is the only scanner i have this problem with
