Default can't find an answer. HLEP please!

    hello everyone,

i've been having problem with my browser lately. When i click on a website, let say a search from a google, it would either take me to different website(such as random search engine, blinkx.com, and etc.) Or site just leaves a blank. but if i type in the address on address bar, it works fine.

Also im sure i have some type of virus or spyware, so i downloaded spybot and i can't seem to connect to the server during installation. i even tried different scan tools and again, i can't install the program or get on the server.

i don't have a virus scanner, so i downloaded avast and it found some virus and malwares, and spywares. but the problem still exists....

anyone know what type of virus this is and any solution for fix this problem?

    thanks
    -jae

    Hi jkonquer,

    to Safer Networking Forums.

Please read the thread "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) from tashi and prepare an HijackThis log file.

After that, open your own thread in the Malware Removal Forum. Someone will help you there.
    Best regards - Beste Grüße,

    Matt

Try skipping the update during the installation and update after the installation, making sure that you authorize program SDUpdate.exe to access the internet via your firewall.
