my spy bot isnt picking up a virtumonde virus.ive watched it scan it a couple times but it doesnt do anything about it.im not usre what to do.could you guys try and fix that?

There's a lot of Virtumonde/Vundo variants and Spybot can only detect so much.
Do you currently have a Virtumonde infection on your machine?

Do you mean Spybot does not find it? Or it finds it and cannot fix it?

I have had a virtumonde detected and have tried the disconnect and reboot as suggested. What can I do to get rid of this pest?

If Spybot or other tools can't delete Virtumonde completely, I've the following recommendation for you and perhaps for tresa too:

Please read the thread "BEFORE you POST"(READ this Procedure BEFORE Requesting Assistance) from tashi and prepare an HijackThis log file.

After that, open your own thread in the Malware Removal Forum. Someone will help you there.
