    Default Rescan item

if spybot finds something it usually means you probably spent about 60+ minuets (or more, on the lowest common denominator system) scanning ones computer. the first inconvenience is needing to scan in the first place during peak usage. the second (after fighting off the reinstall requests of viruses and spyware in registry catches) is re-scaning to make sure its gone.

I recommend being able to rescan for spisific values of identified threat entries.

if you are removing a cookie you don't expect it to come back but if you scanned for items in your list or one root entry of discovered problems you could identify if it was spreading/mutating before a required restart [note before restart to delete replicated files] if you preformed the scan on that ONE entry on a requested basis from a user. its unlikely a virus would request a scan for a type of virus unless it was trying to open a backdoor so simple definition user requests would be effective against infections that require a restart to spread.

it seems like something that could speed up the process of maleware mantinance to me although it seems to be missing from the context menu.

hope someone supports this or thinks its worth while,

    Ryoku
