I abort it because it continues through the whole process with the same errors for each check. This started before this last update to v1.62. I thought perhaps it would go away with the update from v1.61 to v1.62 but it did not!

I have completely uninstalled and reinstalled at least 5 times! I have reinstalled older versions and it still happens. I am at a real loss here I can't live without SpyBot!, it is simpley the Best! It has saved me too many times to count. I am using (This is probably the real problem) Win 7 RC x64 and have had numerous problems just with the OS which have come and gone. At the moment it is working fairly well.

I am using Comodo for all Security besides Spybot & Spyware Blaster.

Frankly, I rarely use IE (I can't stand it!!) I am an avid FireFox user so I can't tell if it has anything to do with IE 8.

If you have any ideas or know what causes these error codes to fire please let me know. Thanks in advance and remember:

I have the same problem on Vista SP1 using IE7, AVG8.5 !

I've been waiting for someone to reply to your post with a fix or any
type of news on the matter.

Just letting you know that you are not the only one with this problem &
it's not isolated to Win7 or IE8.
