I ran symantec antivirus which found w32.tidserv.g virus and partially fixed it. I went to the symnatec website which had instructions on completely removing it, but as I'm seeing on this forum the first instruction was probably bad which was to disable the system restore. I followed the rest of the instructions but did not see the files it noted in the registry. I then tried running spybot search and destroy but it wouldn't work, so I uninstalled it and then tried to reinstall the latest version but I couldn't even get to the website, so I downloaded it from download.com but it wouldn't install after downloading since it wouldn't go to the safer-networking.org website. I then downloaded, installed and ran lavasoft ad aware but the problems still persist. The computer is running slower. I can get on most websites but not spyware removal ones like spybot search and destroy and I get redirected to other websites and ads pop up which didn't used to occur. Also when I do a search using yahoo, I get directed to a website other than what I actually clicked on. I then tried installing stopzilla and spydoctor but couldn't install those either after download. I wish I would've checked this forum first before attempting fixes. I also went into msconfig and unchecked some programs that were starting up, e.g., there was a b.exe. I also deleted b.exe and others like c.exe, d.exe, e.exe from the temp folder. I deleted all files from all temp folders.

Click here to download HJTInstall.exe

• Save HJTInstall.exe to your desktop.
• Doubleclick on the HJTInstall.exe icon on your desktop.
• By default it will install to C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis .
• Click on Install.
• It will create a HijackThis icon on the desktop.
• Once installed, it will launch Hijackthis.
• Click on the Do a system scan and save a logfile button. It will scan and the log should open in notepad.
• Click on "Edit > Select All" then click on "Edit > Copy" to copy the entire contents of the log.
• Come back here to this thread and Paste the log in your next reply.
• DO NOT use the AnalyseThis button, its findings are dangerous if misinterpreted.
• DO NOT have Hijackthis fix anything yet. Most of what it finds will be harmless or even required.
