A link through Facebook has given my a zillion and one pop ups. As I have no desire to date Russian women (not that I have anything against them just not into bleach blondes) or have a 'Zwinky' version of myself I need to get rid of them.
The last time I had pop-up problems Spybot got rid of whatever was causing them; this time it keeps saying no problems but he-ho, I am offered the opportunity to meet people I don't really want to but with a 'Smiley'.

Any simple free ways of getting rid of them, before I take a sledge hammer to the machine?


And before you go oh no, numpty; as far as I recall I said NO to every winlogon/in attempt that popped up in the corner.
