Default How to get rid of Tea Timer?

In the past, I have always disabled Tea Timer, since I have other programs that offer resident protection and Tea Timer would likely cause conflicts with them. However, I can't seem to find a way to disable it in the current version (1.6.2.46). Is it possible to disable Tea Timer, and if so, how? If I can't disable it, I will probably have to uninstall SpyBot. I am reluctant to do that, but I definitely do NOT want yet another program on my computer offering resident protection.

Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hello,

You can disable TeaTimer as follows:
    - Go into Spybot - Mode - Advanced Mode - Tools - Resident.
    - Uncheck the following: Resident "TeaTimer" (Protection of over-all system settings) Active.

    Best regards

    Hi cybernut,

    • Open Spybot
    • Chose Mode > Advanced Mode
    • Click Yes/Apply
    • Choose Tools > Resident
    • Now you can disable TeaTimer
    Best regards - Beste Grüße,

Thanks very much, Sandra and Matt, for your prompt and helpful responses. It turns out that, although descriptions with this version of SpyBot gave me the impression that TeaTimer was now on by default, that turned out not to be the case. When I went into Resident, it was unchecked. But I'm also very pleased to know how to deal with this if need be in the future.
