    Default automate spybot problem

I have tried to automate upon system startup with no success.
Checked is Automatically run program at system startup, Run check at program start, Fix all problems at program start, and Search the web for new versions at each program start.
I assume when I boot I should see the program kick off.
    Spybot runs fine manually.
    Any ideas?
    Thanks.

Thanks Zenobia. I do use teatimer and when I checked the log there were no entries for today. I set this up today, tried with a restart and a cold boot.

    You're welcome.
There should have been an entry automatically Allowing Spybot to run on startup,if Teatimer is set up to use whitelists, which it is by default:
20/10/2009 12:16:23 AM Allowed (based on authenticode whitelist) value "SpybotSnD" (new data: ""C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\SpybotSD.exe"") added in System Startup global entry!
Could you show me your startup list?

    I think I see what's going on.You're running Vista,correct?
When you set up Spybot to run on startup, did you rightclick the Spybot icon and select Run As Administrator first?

Zenobia, you are correct, I am using Vista and I did not start Spybot up using administrator. I did have some success running as admin but only after I went back to default settings first. Spybot did start checking upon startup but did not do updates first. So with some success by running as admin I went back to what I wanted in the first place, use scheduler to get updates, scan for problems, fix and immunize without having to respond to any prompts. I am not sure if this can be done but I will keep trying. Let me know if this can be done and if you have any suggestions I would appreciate them. Thanks again for you help.

Zenobia, I got it to run. I ran it as administrator and set up the command line with allhives, autoupdate, autocheck, autofix, autoimmunize and autoclose. I viewed the reports and it looks good. I wish the reports showed better tracking of what went on so I would know that it checked my other system(xp) and other users.
    Thanks again !!!!!!!!!
