Update installation

I have used spybot for over a year without a problem- great program. I find now that when I download updates I get a message they were not installed. I am signed on as administrator- tested this by changing my admin password.

Additional I have noticed a message I have not seen before. After the failed update installation if I click the update button again, I get a message "no new updates avaliable" BEFORE I click the search button.
I am running XP. Any help appreciated. John

Just download and run that file - it is self-installing.
