When I try to update Spybot I get a message it can't find the update file. The first time this came on I deleted and re-downloaded Spybot, but now it's doing it again.

I just got DSL. I have XP, AVG and System Mechanic.

Any solutions?

I'm trying to update Spybot, but it tells me "Error retrieving update info file." I've had Spybot for some time and never had this problem. I uninstalled and re-downloaded it, but the same thing's happening.

Which operating system do you use?

Which version of Spybot did you download? And where?

Is your firewall potentially blocking the update connection? Malware?
