I'm trying to use the /log command line parameter with Spybot Search & Destroy 1.62 on Windows XP SP3. I'm following the documentation in the FAQ.

It would also be helpful if the term "temporary folder" could be clarified in the FAQ. I could not find the log file in any of the expected temporary directories when running /log without the "=filename" parameter. Where is the file actually located?

A better option would be a default log file location in a non-temporary folder, such as Application Data.

Does the /log="filename" parameter accept UNC names, e.g. /log="\\otherpc\share\thispc.log" ? I have tried it with local path spelling "C:\Archives\thispc.log", but I've never had a log file created in any location I can find.

Code:
"C:\Program Files\Spybot - Search & Destroy\SpybotSD.exe" /taskbarhide /autoclose /autoupdate /autocheck /autofix /onlyspyware /log="\\otherpc\share\thispc.log"
Thanks.
