    Default Crash when Checking "FAVORITE-NETWORK"

    Hello,

Spybot crashes when checking for "FAVORITE-NETWORK" items while scanning.
I downloaded the least version of Spybot and updated it today.

    Please help!

I am using Windows 7 Professional 64-Bit Build 7600 (Its the RTM version).

    Greetings,

    Hello SpyBotUser1,

Do you receive an error message?
    Or does Spybot just freeze?

    Hi,

    It just freezes.

And then I can choose between Close, Debug or Search for Solutions Online.
But sometimes it just closes whithout showing any dialog for these options.

I can give you the assembly code which is being processed right before crashing if this would help.

When, in the settings, I enable the checkbox for not checking for FAVORITE-NETWORK, SpyBot finishes scanning. But I think there's a problem with that FAVORITE-NETWORK item, I just don't know if it's on the side of spybot or on my computer...

    Hello,

Please try to deactivate the realtime protection of other security tools.
Then please try to run the scan again.

    Does it work then?

    Hello,

I just tried booting from a Windows PE Version Disc, updated the spybot version which was on it and ran the check again. It didnt find anything.
