Can someone please tell and computer numbscull how to get rid of Virtumonde virus in all its forms please? I seem to have just about all of them, and Spybot keeps crashing each time it ends up on Virtumone. Please please what do I do? Thanks. Matt

in this thread, tashi explains you how to create a backup with a tool called ERUNT and how you can create a HijackThis logfile.

You have to post this HijackThis logfile in your new thread in the Malware Removal Forum. Then an analyst will help you to get rid of Virtumonde as soon as possible.

hmm, a backup of what exactly? I'm confused, I thought backups of you system require to pay a fee or more complicated then just a program?

ERUNT is a free program to back up the registry so that it can be restored if necessary.
