Default Immunization incomplete IE 32bit \Software (Domains)

    Hello,

spybot does not immunze 12092 domains (IE 32bit \Software (Domains)). All other items are protected.

    - Immunization in safe mode: no change
    - Undo Immunization Redo Immunization: no change
    - Reinstall spybot: no change
    - I have admin right!
    - I am not an AVG Antivirus, ZoneAlarm or STOPzilla user
I have just installed Kaspersky Internet Security (closed for immunization already)

    My system:
    Windows Vista x64
    Internet Explorer 8
    Firefox 3.6
    Spybot 1.6.2.46 Lastest d. update: 10.02.2010

Please do not link http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=36272 (Various reasons for incomplete immunization ) !!!

You can also answer in German

    Thanks!

    Hi KarlC,

    Same problem here:

Last version of Spybot (try, undo function, immunizing second time without result)
    Windows 7 x64 Ultimate
Kaspersky Internet Security 2010 (try turning off, uninstalling without result)
    Installed Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Free

System is clean and keep updated.

Any Help? Any Ideas? Any solution?

    Lightbulb Solution

Had the same problem with W7 x64 and KIS 2010, but managed to solve it.

Apologies if this is very simple, but I'm used to helping my parents (completely computer illiterate).

Open regedit with admin rights (Start>type 'regedit' in search bar>right-click and select 'Run as administrator')

    open:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap
    or on a x86/32bit system:
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap
    and delete the folder 'Domains'.

If this refuses to delete, right-click and select 'Permissions...', select your username from the list (or find it by clicking Add...>Advanced...>Find Now and then select your username and click OK). Then tick the Allow boxes, click OK and delete.

You can now open spybot and select Immunize, and once it has scanned, select Immunize at the top.

That should be everything solved, let me know it that helped =]
