Default Spybot run on reboot of system?

Hi Folks, I ran Spybot a couple of times and it found some infections, however it couldn't remove them because they were 'in memory, or in use' something like that. It then goes on to ask if I wanted to run Spybot after a restart of my system. I click 'Yes' and then reboot my computer. Spybot doesn't start up. I repeated the procedure again and it still didn't start.

I guess one question I have is how to enable Spybot to run on system start? And two, the larger question is how do I get rid of these particular system x86 infections?

    TIA,

    Mike

    Hello Mike,

    1. Please run Spybot - Search & Destroy and switch to the Advanced mode via the menu item Mode.
Now select 'Settings' - 'Settings' from the navigation bar on the left.
There you will find many options to automate Spybot - Search & Destroy.

    2. Please run a scan in safe mode. That should fix it.

    Best regards
