Unhappy Win32.ZBot it's winning the fight...

Hello, first i should mentioned I tried a little do-it-yourself using the program, 'Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware' (after sbybot could not remove the trojan). the Malwarebyte program found 11 problems which i had it fix (not exactly genious, i know, but the files had some nasty names)

With that said here is the HiJackThis report:

Hello Shaba (think you were the one who helped me in '07)

To answer your question Spybot found it and seems to believe it's C:\WINDOWS\system32\sdra64.exe

Spybot thinks it's fixed it after I ask it too per scan, however it comes back if I run spybot right after that. Also there are two sdra64.exe, one with your normal program icon and one with a MSDOS icon. I added the fallowing (not sure if it's needed or helpful, but I figured it wouldn't hurt.)

    I see.

It is most likely due to TeaTimer.

Also, your spybot is not the latest version. Please update it, scan with it and post back a fresh spybot log.

Hmm, well after reboot, spybot did run however it did an odd version of the scan and took nearly two hours, I'm also positive I don't want it doing that again, it won't will it?

Also Macafee Is Detecting and removing ALOT of Trojans

    Detected: FakeAlert-WinWebSecurity.c (Trojan), FakeAlert-WinWebSecurity.c (Trojan), FakeAlert-WinWebSecurity.c (Trojan), FakeAlert-WinWebSecurity.c (Trojan), FakeAlert-WinWebSecurity.c (Trojan), FakeAlert-WinWebSecurity.c (Trojan), FakeAlert-WinWebSecurity.c (Trojan), FakeAlert-WinWebSecurity.c (Trojan)
    Location: C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\Local Settings\Application Data\ave.exe

    About this Trojan
    Detected: FakeAlert-MY.gen (Trojan)
    Location: C:\Documents and Settings\NetworkService\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Windows Defender\vma.exe

this one appeared multiple times. both appeared during the scan, It got so annoying I had to mark do not show this messege again, this all happened during the spybot scan

After spybot finished a new icon appeared on my toolbar claiming to be XP Internet Security.

Sigh, I'll run spybot again after this post

One or more of the identified infections is a backdoor trojan.

This allows hackers to remotely control your computer, steal critical system information and Download and Execute files

I would counsel you to disconnect this PC from the Internet immediately. If you do any banking or other financial transactions on the PC or if it should contain any other sensitive information, please get to a known clean computer and change all passwords where applicable, and it would be wise to contact those same financial institutions to apprise them of your situation.

Though the Trojan has been identified and can be killed, because of it's backdoor functionality, your PC is very likely compromised and there is no way to be sure your computer can ever again be trusted. Many experts in the security community believe that once infected with this type of Trojan, the best course of action would be a reformat and reinstall of the OS. Please read these for more information:

How Do I Handle Possible Identify Theft, Internet Fraud and CC Fraud?

When Should I Format, How Should I Reinstall

We can attempt to clean this machine but i can't guarantee that it will be 100% secure afterwards.

Should you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Please let us know what you have decided to do in your next post
