Unhappy Re-directing, and unable to download

Hi - I believe my computer is infected, and has been for about a week and a half (I think). I believe my teenage son may have downloaded something with a virus, or ? (I have two kids using my computer at times.)

My computer won't let me download anything and it also re-directs me when I click on something after a search. I also haven't been able to open any pdf files, but that may be another problem.

    Thanks for your help!

    -Crystal

Oh, I forgot to mention that I can not run or load DDS, or anything else! And I wasn't able to install/ run Spybot S&D, so I don't think I have the teapot thing...

    Thanks!

    -Crystal
