    Default Should I worry?

A week or two ago, my Spybot S&D found 20 entries of Win32.pornpopup. I found out that this virus is supposedly difficult to get rid of.
Spybot said it removed it, but then my computer began to slow and I believe I saw a popup appear on my computer for a split moment, with the picture of a woman on it. I decided to system restore to before Spybot had found the virus.
So far, everything seems ok, I'm doing regular scans and everything seems clean, but my computer has been going slower ever since this whole ordeal. I'm new to the site, so I apologize if this is in the wrong forum category, but my question is: Should I do another system restore to a farther back date, or am I just being paranoid?
    Thank you so much.

    Hello Mariah,

    Previous topic: http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=58264

    From the forum FAQ:
Please do NOT turn off System Restore trying to remove an infection. Doing so would only serve to destroy a known restore point (dirty or not) and won't remove the malware. Let your helper advise you as to when a System Restore flush is called for.
    Best regards.

    Thanks for the advice.
Is it possible for the virus to still be in my computer after I've already done this system restore? Truthfully, my computer is acting better than it did when I knew I had the virus, but is a bit on the slow side. I just tend to get rather paranoid about these things since our computer crashed some months ago.

    Default New issue?

I have another issue that's been worrying me as of today...
When I check for updates with my Spybot, it will say "No New Updates available", or something to that affect, and won't let me check the page where I pick a place to download Spybot updates from.
It's never done this before. Is this normal, or is this the virus?
