    Default Click.Giftloader Issues

    Hi,

Spybot found Click.Giftloader yesterday while scanning. I have tried to remove it and, once "removed", Spybot finds the malware again after restarting the computer. I have read a few threads on this issue and how this type of malware may be a TDSS rootkit? I've also read that removing this type of infection is computer-specific. Unfortunately, I am unable to download ANYTHING (a message pops up saying that my internet settings are not allowing it to download) so I cannot download the DDS or pretty much anything else. I am NOT computer savvy but I haven't tried removing the infection using anything but Spybot. Please help!

    Kate

    Default Also..

I am running IE 8 and as far as I know, there are no updated anti-virus software programs on this computer.
