    Default email hijacked

Hi, hoping you can help me, I never knew this could happen! Someone broke into my email account with my provider, changed my email address and emptied my inbox & sent box. They sent emails to anyone that I had in my sent box (the usual scam, I'm in london, send money) I've secured my bank accounts, but now I am not sure what to do next to make sure I don't have any keylogger programs or other malware. Any advice would be appreciated. thx

    Hello Mari8675,

If you would like someone to take a look at the system please see this FAQ "BEFORE You POST"(Please read this Procedure Before Requesting Assistance)
It includes instructions in post #2 on how to provide a preliminary DDS log which is used for analysis.

Then start a new topic in the Malware Removal Forum and a volunteer analyst will advise you when available.

    Best regards.
