Trojan wiped out start menu and more

A few days ago I was working on the computer on my usual sites and I got a notification from Spybot TeaTimer about two attempted changes in the registry. I clicked n "Don't Allow". Just after that I got a notification from McAfee that they had eliminated a Trojan from the system. In looking at the log the Trojan was identified as "DNSChanger.cq.q". I guess the actions of Spybot TeaTimer and McAfee didn't happen fast enough to keep from damage being done. My start menu was blank and the majority of the icons on my desktop were gone. All the programs in the start meny showed "blank".

The first thing I thought to do was to do a restore since it appeared to me that the registry or something had been altered. I did the restore and some of the programs on the start menu were back, but very few. Then I noticed that I could not access my email or FB. The pages would come up, but were blank after the logo at the top. So I thought that the previous condition was better so I tried to undo the restore and could no longer find the restore console.

I have also noticed that, on a number of sites, small things are disabled like drop-down menus. I also had to go to another computer to register for this forum as the Image Verification block did not show the image.

I've run Spybot and all flagged issues were removed. I also ran Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware program. I have disabled TeaTimer.

I have done a back up with ERUNT and will post the log. I will also attach the DDS log zip file.

Ok, for some reason I'm unable to click on the attach icon and attach tne attach.zip file.

I'm not that computer savvy so please bear with me on this. Thanks!

Additional happenings since first post: Last night I kept getting the Internet Script Error boxes and then Windows froze. I rebooted and, all of a sudden after another couple of Script Error boxes, I had access to email and Facebook. There are still problems with the empty start menu and other things like assorted drop down menus at different sites.
