Win32.Alureon.mbr is a Rootkit related to the Alureon/TDSS family. Once run it infects the Master Boot Record (MBR) unalterable. It is run on every system reboot and may also installs rogue antispyware applications. It is recommended to use special Master Boot Record tools to replace the infected MBR with a legit one.Removal Instructions:
Please use Windows Explorer or another file manager of your choice to locate and delete these files.
Make sure you set your file manager to display hidden and system files. If Win32.Alureon.mbr uses rootkit technologies, use our RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.

You will have to use a global search for files without a name specified. Be extra careful, because just the name might not be enough to identify files!
