Default Trend Micro Office Scan detecting Teatimer.exe as a virus

    Hi,

I was wondering if anyone had heard/seen anything around this subject? After running Office Scan last Thursday on approx 50 PCs, it detected a virus outbreak on all of them citing teatimer.exe as a virus and quarantining it.

I'm assuming Trend has picked this up as a false positive, rather than there being a new virus called teatimer.exe. Trend are being very slow to respond on this matter.

    Thanks.

Did you report a false positive in Trend's forum? http://community.trendmicro.com/
