snap.do removal

Hi,

I can't get rid of this piece of malware. They claim for it to be some sort of browser assistance, its not its just a pain in the ass and I never asked for it to be installed. Not really sure how it got to my computer.

Anyway to this stage I've tried the following:

• Add/Remove programs removal (doesn't work as not listed)
• Windows Install Clean Up Utility (doesn't work as not listed)
• Spy Bot Search and Destroy (latest definitions, doesn't find it)
• Malware Bytes (latest version, doesn't find it)

I've got Windows XP SP3 and its affecting all browsers IE8, Firefox (latest) etc.

What can I do?

In case you missed it please see the FAQ which includes guidelines for this forum and instructions in post #2 on how to provide the preliminary DDS/aswMBR logs used for analysis.

Then you'd need to start a new topic providing the logs requested so a volunteer analyst can advise when available.
