    Default Barowwsoe2Save

After running Spybot, I am notified that I have 2 entries Malware C

    Barowwsoe2Save

    [SBI $EBFF04E2] Executable
    C:\ProgramData\InstallMate\{7C71C3E9-7BF0-4F14-...

    [SBI $f0D49796] Program Directory
    C:\ProgramData\InstallMate\{7C71C3E9-7BF0-4...

When I click Fix Selected Problems I receive the following error message

    Unexpected error in fixing problems
(Cannot create file "C:\Windows\wininit.ini". Access is denied)

I then click OK and receive a Warning box

Some problems couldn't be fixed; the reason could be the associated files are still in use (in memory). This could be fixed after a restart.
May Spybot run on your next startup?

I select No and then receive a Confirmation box

    0 problems fixed
1 problems could not be fixed. You should have an administrator scan and fix again.

    This is a personal computer.

    How can I remove Barowwsoe2Save?

    Hello wpane,

I moved your topic to the Spybot forum as members requesting assistance in the Malware Removal Forum need to see that forum's FAQ which includes guidelines in post #1 and instructions in post #2 on how to provide the preliminary DDSand aswMBR logs used for analysis.

    Before you consider that...

Although it is a common Windows error code, it's not really an error so much as an administrative access issue. Spybot requires that you have administrative rights over the machine upon which you install them.

Which version of Spybot-S&D do you have and did you do the following.

    Spybot-S&D 2.0

How can I get administrator rights under Windows Vista / Windows 7 / Windows 8?

    Spybot-S&D 1.6.2

On Windows Vista and Windows 7, Spybot-S&D might tell you that you are not authorized to perform some actions, since they require Administrator rights. You can solve this problem as follows:

    1. Right-click the Spybot - Search & Destroy entry in your start menu, instead of just left-clicking to start it.
    2. Choose Run as administrator from the context menu.

    Best regards.

Default Solution that fixed my problem

    tashi,

    Thank you for your help.

    I'm running version 1.6.2

Right clicking and running as administrator allowed me to delete Barowwsoe2Save.
