There are many comments where users of the latest spybot were dissatisfied and went back to an earlier version 6.1.9.214

Can you provide a link to this version 6.1.9.214, thank you.

.That spybot sets up a firm with a different name to distribute the newest version, whether the customer wants to upgrade or not is despicable.

Prior versions to our 2.0 release: 1.1 > 1.2 > 1.3 > 1.4 > 1.5 > 1.6

Still available for older PCs: Spybot – Search & Destroy® 1.6.2 (free for private users)

Hello tashi Am I going to get an answer to my original query on host file? The last answer by sandra was there was not such a version as 6.1.9.214. Now it is admitted that this spybot is an earlier version.

I do not understand. I gave you all the information you requested. First there was a denial that the Spybot I was using was not Spybot Then an admittance that earlier versions of Spybot, including the one I am using is available.Am I going to get a reply to my original question or not?

That is why I went back to earlier version of Spybot. Perhaps I will get an answer to my query -Host file- that I submitted several days ago or was it weeks?
