Description:
SelectionLinks is installed by other software like Optimum Installer without proper user consent. It gets installed as questionable add-on to the Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox.
Removal Instructions:

Registry:

You can use regedit.exe (included in Windows) to locate and delete these registry entries.
  • Delete the registry key "{1C058FAF-7C4B-4C0F-801F-62924059AFAC}" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\".
  • Delete the registry key "{878B8524-AED5-4870-9A96-A515440DAC75}" at "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Low Rights\ElevationPolicy\".
  • Delete the registry key "SelectionLinks v4.DLL" at "HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\AppID\".
If SelectionLinks uses rootkit technologies, use our RegAlyzer, RootAlyzer or our Total Commander anti-rootkit plugins.
