A friends computer has been kidnapped by a cyberterrorist program called bravesentry2.0. It wants ransom $$ to release it. It is almost completely locked up by bs2.
I would appreciate help to set it free.
Thanx

I suggest that your friend consider posting in the Malware Removal forum and having someone take a look at their system.
The instructions for running preliminary scans, producing logs and posting in that forum outlined in the following reference:
- BEFORE you POST and Who will advise you. Preliminary Steps!

After completing those steps, start a new thread (topic) in the following forum:

Hi, everybody,
My first post here, not a question but a testimony.
I got infected this week-end by bravesentry.
What a mess !
I rushed to the nearby Internet Cafe, googled "bravesentry" and got the point.
Back home, I shut down my PC, re-opened it in Safe mode and ran a scan with Adaware.
Shut down again, re-opened in Standard mode, failure, the ugly stuff re-installed itself and my anti-virus software was blincking every 10 seconds....
I restarted in Safe mode, ran a scan with Spybot.
It worked...
Safe and clean
So my message conclusion :
THANKS GUYS
Regards
Daniel
