    Default No tracking cookies

Spybot 1.4 No longer finds tracking cookies on my PC. I don't believe this is because there are none, as it has always found at least a couple, I use Firefox and it has always found the cookies in this browsers cache as well as IE Explorers.

This happened once before and I don't remember how it was fixed . It was something to do with restoring an old update file?

Go into Spybot > Mode > Advanced mode > Settings > File Sets. Make sure that Cookies.sbi is checked.

If you have Spybot's Browser Helper Object (BHO) enabled it will block the same tracking cookies in Internet Explorer that Spybot detects.

There may also be another reason that you are not detecting tracking cookies. Settings within each browser can prevent the storing of Tracking Cookies. For those settings see:

Thanks for that information, the appropriate cookies.sbi box is checked in Spybot. and firefox is set to only accept cookies from the originating site, so maybe they are all getting blocked any way.
