    The computer still seems to be running normally today.

    DelFix
    • Please download DelFix and save the file to your Desktop.
    • Double-click DelFix.exe to run the programme.
    • Place a checkmark next to the following items:
      • Activate UAC
      • Remove disinfection tools
      • Create registry backup
      • Purge system restore

    • Click the Run button.

    -- This will remove the specialised tools we used to disinfect your system. Any leftover logs, files, folders or tools remaining on your Desktop which were not removed can be deleted manually (right-click the file + delete).

    The DelFix link isn't working ("This page can't be displayed") and I wasn't sure about the sources for it I found on google. I'll try the page again tomorrow.

    It didn't work for me either.
    If need be we can remove these tools manually.

    Open notepad. Please copy the contents of the quote box below. To do this highlight the contents of the box and right click on it and select copy.
    Paste this into the open notepad. save it to the Desktop as fixlist.txt
    NOTE. It's important that both files, FRST/FRST64 and fixlist.txt are in the same location or the fix will not work.

    Run FRST/FRST64 and press the Fix button just once and wait.
    no needed to post the log this time.
    start
    DeleteQuarantine:
    end
    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    Double click on AdwCleaner.exe to run the tool again.
    Click on the Uninstall button.
    Click Yes when asked are you sure you want to uninstall.
    Both AdwCleaner.exe, its folder and all logs will be removed.
    I would keep MBAM, update often to stay current. Works very well with any onboard antivirus.
    If you still notice tools with folders still on your machine just let me know.
