Default SONY files coming back "Unknown ADS"

Sorry to bother you all, I know this is a super busy forum.

But I just ran a rootkit scan on my system and given the issues with hacking and Sony lately, I thought I'd post a quick query.

I have several SOE games installed on my computer. The rootkit scan resulted in literally hundreds and hundreds of files flagged "Unknown ADS". It's been going on an hour now for the scan and more are still popping up (see imgur link): http://i.imgur.com/w53GQUp.jpg

It appears to be flagging every SOE game I have installed, but most significantly its recent release of Landmark. Here's a properties result from a "common" file for Landmark: http://i.imgur.com/1uq1AU1.jpg and http://i.imgur.com/sypPOd4.jpg

I read that some of these may be false flags, so I just wanted to post here to be sure. Sony's not having the best luck these days, I'd hate to get caught up in it.

Thanks very much for your time!

The Sony BMG rootkit issue happened in 2005, has there been something more recent?

The images attached aren't showing anything unusual, in general all items found by the RootAlyzer are not necessarily malicious but shows items it believes to be out of the ordinary.

Sometimes even legitimate software uses rootkit technologies.

    How is the computer running?

    Best regards.

Hi there! Thanks for the speedy response! Greatly appreciated.

The files being flagged were downloaded in 2013-2014, along with others that go back to that older date. It was just such an inordinate amount of them, and all of them were Sony, so it just made me pause. I appreciate you clarifying, (big exhale), it's nice to have peace of mind.

Computer is running regularly for its age (5 years old), I suspect it needs a new motherboard battery -- little sluggish. But nothing out of the ordinary.

Thanks very much for taking the time to respond!

    Cheers!
