    Default AppCompat

There was a tool on this site that scan api used by executable files and dll and detect the Windows compatibility.
Where is? I cannot find it.

    Hello ale5000,

AppCompat is the Microsoft Application Compatibility Toolkit (ACT)

    For instance:
    http://blogs.msdn.com/b/heaths/archi...installer.aspx

    https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/...y-toolkit.aspx

    Hope that helps.

Thank but I'm talking about an app developed in this forum in he past.
It was a small app with GUI available only in the forum, that detect when a file was compatible with Win 95/98/ME/XP, etc.
I'm not sure about the exact name.

    Hello ale5000,

If you could recall the name it might jog my memory, but apps no longer in development have been removed.

Unfortunately I cannot remember exactly the name, it was something like "compat", but I remember that it scan the API calls of a executable/dll dropped in the app and say the OS where it works the scanned file.
    It was really nice.
I hope someone still have it.
