There does not appear to any incompatibility between Spybot-S&D and Norton's (Symantec's) Internet Security products in spite of the claim by Symantec that there is.
I suggest that you read the following thread:
- Either Safer Networking Ltd. or Symantec leaving the Anti Spyware Coalition...

If you read that thread, you will find that there are many people who think that you should not run Norton in any system with or without Spybot-S&D.
Getting an answer is one thing, learning is another.

I have since 4 years Norton antivirus and Spybot without any problems...
