Cannot remove startup items from list

A while ago this computer got a virus and put several items in the startup. After the virus was removed, the items were still in the startup list but unticked. I tried to delete them but when I close the list and go back into it, they appear again.
Why is this and how can I fix it?

The most important thing is to be sure about your pc is clean....after that......
One way to delete these is by editing the registry...but you should be very sure about these items.....you better ask a little help from a certified technician before theses manipulations....it's not very complicated....but risky
