Default Wild Tangent Not being removed

I used spybot to scan my computer. It found WildTangent. I used Spybot to correct it. When I scanned again after fixing and a restart, it found it again. Subsequent scans and fixes find it again and again. What do you think?

WildTangent is listed as a PUP (Possibly Unwanted Program). I'm assuming this came with Winamp or some other media player.

Have you attempted to scan and remove WildTanget in SAFE MODE (F8 during boot)?

Wild Tangent is listed in Spybot as PUPS:

There's some info here about Wild Tangent(might be a bit dated):

If you want to remove Wild tangent, you could check to see if there's still an entry left in add/remove programs for it,and try uninstalling it from there.Maybe that will remove what Spybot is detecting. If that doesn't help, you could post back.

    (oops,didn't see you,drragostea)

Mr. Zenobia sometimes catches the stuff I miss :P.

Always same old, Zenobia. Lols, our super-speedy keyboards typing at the same time.

    Default Thanks

I have not yet tried running in safe mode and scanning and repairing. I will do that, can't get there till Monday. (Its my sisters computer) Will do that and report back. Thanks.

I have removed it with Windows Control Panel Add/Remove Programs with the same result. Spybot still finds and reports it.
