Hello Pooomba
Welcome to Safer Networking.
Please read Before You Post
All advice given by anyone volunteering here, is taken at own risk.
While best efforts are made to assist in removing infections safely, unexpected stuff can happen
You have quite an array of infections on this system, as to not overwhelm you, let do this first.
This is important, do this before you post a HJT log
C:\Program Files\Trend Micro\HijackThis\HijackThis.exe<-- Right click on Hijackthis.exe ( looks like a man with a spyglass )and rename it to Scanner.exe
Download SDFix and save it to your Desktop.
Double click SDFix.exe and it will extract the files to %systemdrive%
(Drive that contains the Windows Directory, typically C:\SDFix)
Please then reboot your computer in Safe Mode by doing the following :- Restart your computer
- After hearing your computer beep once during startup, but before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually;
- Instead of Windows loading as normal, the Advanced Options Menu should appear;
- Select the first option, to run Windows in Safe Mode, then press Enter.
- Choose your usual account.
- Open the extracted SDFix folder and double click RunThis.bat to start the script.
- Type Y to begin the cleanup process.
- It will remove any Trojan Services and Registry Entries that it finds then prompt you to press any key to Reboot.
- Press any Key and it will restart the PC.
- When the PC restarts the Fixtool will run again and complete the removal process then display Finished, press any key to end the script and load your desktop icons.
- Once the desktop icons load the SDFix report will open on screen and also save into the SDFix folder as Report.txt
(Report.txt will also be copied to Clipboard ready for posting back on the forum). - Finally paste the contents of the Report.txt back on the forum with a new HijackThis log
Post the report from SDfix and a new HJT log renamed please
-
Thanks Ken 545. I can't run the bat file in safe mode. It is telling me it is not a valid win32 application??
-
Lets bypass that for the moment.
We need to disable the Tea Timer in Spybot Search and Destroy as to not interfere with the fix.- Open Spybot and go to Mode> Advanced Mode> Tools> Resident and take the checkmark out of Tea Timer
We need to make sure all hidden files are showing :
- Click Start.
- Open My Computer.
- Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
- Select the View tab.
- Under the Hidden files and folders heading select Show hidden files and folders.
- Uncheck the Hide file extensions for known types option.
- Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
- Click Yes to confirm.
- Click OK.
Once your system is clean, we suggest that you reverse this to keep critical windows files from accidently being deleted.
- Go to Start> Run and type in services.msc then press Enter
- Scroll down to tjk8rla0zxexp
- Double Click that service to open it.
- Click on Stop Service.
- Then change the Startup Type to Disabled.
- OK your way out of the program.
- Open HJT > Misc Tools > Delete an NT Service
- Type in tjk8rla0zxexp
- Then click on OK, it will ask you to reboot, do so.
Delete this file in Red If it won't delete let me know.
C:\WINDOWS\system32\systs.exe
Now rename HJT like I posted and let me see a New HJT log
-
HI Ken. SAme problem. services.msi is not a valid win32 application
-
Its services.msc, not services.msi, did you type it in correctly?
Open HijackThis > Do a System Scan Only, close your browser and all open windows including this one, the only program or window you should have open is HijackThis, check the following entries and click on Fix Checked.

Rename HJT and post a new log please

Hi Ken. Yes typed correctly. Can't run hijack.exe either or get on the net due to invalid win32 errors. I am using another machine to talk to you.
About teh only thing that will open is spybot and office applications. Virtually everything else brings up an error.
Do I need to bite the bullet and clean install??
If so how do i back up my data and not back up an infection??
-
It sounds like you have some major windows issues, try this. Do you have your Windows XP install disk.
Depending on how your manufacturer set up your system, you may or may not need the Windows XP CD. If you have a I386 folder on your C:\ drive you may not need the disk.
- Click Start>Run
- Type in sfc /scannow, hit Enter.
- Note: there is a space between sfc and /scannow
- This should replace any corrupted/missing system files and will hopefully fix things.
If the above did not help, if you have your windows disk, you maybe able to do a Windows Repair, what this does is installs windows right over the top of your current version and you wont lose anything, BUT you still will be infected. Its possible that the infections you have have caused this mess.
Why don't you post in one of these forums for help with windows issues, they can guide you through a repair and may also tell you that a reformat and clean install is needed. Be sure to tell them that you posted here and that you are infected with the SDbot worm and possibly the Vundo trojan . If they do help you with a windows repair and are still infected, post back with your log , I will keep this thread open for you for a week or so so you can post back.

Good luck,
Ken
