Hi:
I have deleted: C:\Documents and Settings\ABS Tampa\My Documents\Expense Invoices\Less Used\PST Files\archive.pst
Regarding: C:\Program Files\DogpileToolbar\ <-- optional, if you decide to remove uninstall it first via add/remove programs see here.
Should I just do the regular add/remove programs to delete it? When I clicked on the "See Here", it gave me these instructions for removal:
REMOVALThe following instructions pertain to all current and recent Symantec antivirus products, including the Symantec AntiVirus and Norton AntiVirus product lines.
Disable System Restore (Windows Me/XP).
Update the virus definitions.
Uninstall the Trackware.
Unregister the .dll file.
Run a full system scan.
Delete any values added to the registry.
Reset the Internet Explorer homepage if it has been changed.
Which method should I use to remove?
Regarding removal of: C:\Install.exe
I did a search on C:\Install.exe and got 14 results. I didn't get anything that matches this exactly. I tried to paste in the results but I couldn't. The closest thing I got looked like something from "2004 AccuWeather". I'm not sure if that's it or not.
I have not had the error msg anymore regarding "xlibgfl.254.dll" for about a week.
I do still have a couple concerns:
1. When I ran the Kaspersky scan yesterday, it said I still had 7 viruses and 17 infected objects. What do we do we these?
2. My dsl provider AT&T gives me the "Norton Security Online" along with my subscription for free. What do you recommend that I use on an ongoing basis to protect my system? Should I disable "Norton" and use your solutions, or can I use both?
Thanks again for your help.
Paul
