    Hi again. I ran vundofix again last night after posting and got the same results. After reading your post I restarted the PC, ran vundofix again, and still got the same message. It says no infected files found, and does not leave a Vundofix.txt log.
    Right after running vundofix I ran HJT, here is that log:

    Vundofix.txt will be on the C:\
    Post the Vundofix.txt and a new HJT log, also feedback, how is the computer running?
    Thanks..Phil
    I need to see the log even if it finds nothing, that is why I request it.

    We are a ways from being done with this infection.

    1) Open Vundofix by Doubleclicking on it, then point your mouse to the white box
    above the buttons and right click, then click on Add More Files. When the
    next window opens, copy and paste the files into the boxes and click on Add
    File(s), then click on Close Window. Then click Remove Vundo.

    Files to add:
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\gebaxxv.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\kodeckwv.dll

    2) How to make files and folders visible:
    Click Start > Open My Computer.
    Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
    Select the View Tab. Under the Hidden files and folders heading, select Show hidden files and folders.
    Uncheck: Hide file extensions for known file types
    Uncheck the Hide protected operating system files (recommended) option.
    Click Yes to confirm. Click OK.
    You may reverse this for safety when we are finished.

    3) Please download ATF Cleaner by Atribune
    http://www.atribune.org/content/view/25/2/
    Save it to your Desktop.
    We will use this later.

    4) Open HijackThis and choose "Do a system scan only" then check the box in front of these line items:

    R3 - URLSearchHook: Yahoo! Toolbar - {EF99BD32-C1FB-11D2-892F-0090271D4F88} - (no file)

    Close all programs but HJT and all browser windows, then click on "Fix Checked"

    5) RIGHT Click on Start then click on Explore. Locate and delete these items:

    C:\Program Files\MSN\woqufes.dll <<< delete that file

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\gebaxxv.dll <<< make sure that file is gone

    6) Run ATF Cleaner
    Double-click ATF-Cleaner.exe to run the program.
    Click Select All found at the bottom of the list.
    Click the Empty Selected button.
    Click Exit on the Main menu to close the program.

    Restart and post the Vundofix report and a new HJT log.

    Thanks

    Okay, the first run of vundofix gave me two errors (Im sure it will show up in the report, listed below) but it did seem to remove the files.

    Next I made the files and folders visible, downloaded ATF cleaner, and proceeded with the HJT scan. The idenupdate file is one that I put in the system, but I am not sure what you mean by "in the hosts file".
    Also, line "O20 - Winlogon Notify: gebaxxv - C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\gebaxxv.dll" was not on my scan list? Regardless I checked and fixed the others.

    I then went to right click on Start, explore, located and deleted "C:\Program Files\MSN\woqufes.dll".
    "C:\WINDOWS\system32\gebaxxv.dll" was not present.

    ATF Cleaner was ran per instructions successfully, and followed by a restart. So here are the vundofix and HJT reports:

    Whoa nellie...this is all I see:
    O2 - BHO: (no name) - {B6895296-6896-4A1A-A6A1-FAD2C95B0481} - (no file)

    Use HJT to remove it, just a dead line. How is the computer running?

    Let's see if Kaspersky can find any threats, please use these settings:
    Run this online scan using Internet Explorer:
    Kaspersky Online Scanner from http://www.kaspersky.com/virusscanner

    Next Click on Launch Kaspersky Online Scanner

    You will be prompted to install an ActiveX component from Kaspersky, Click Yes.

    * The program will launch and then begin downloading the latest definition files:
    * Once the files have been downloaded click on NEXT
    * Now click on Scan Settings
    * In the scan settings make that the following are selected:
    * Scan using the following Anti-Virus database:
    * Standard
    * Scan Options:
    * Scan Archives
    * Scan Mail Bases
    * Click OK
    * Now under select a target to scan:
    * Select My Computer
    * This will program will start and scan your system.
    * The scan will take a while so be patient and let it run.
    * Once the scan is complete it will display if your system has been infected.
    * Now click on the Save as Text button:
    * Save the file to your desktop.

    Then post it here.

    Thanks...Phil

    If these old eyes saw them all, the next Kaspersky scan will be clean. How is this computer running?

    I certainly agree, 19 infected files is a whole lot better than 71

    Do I go about deleting those files by the method of "exploring the start folder"? I havent made any changes so the hidden files and folders should still be visible.

    Computer is running great, restarts and waking back up from standby are back to normal speeds, and it seems well all around

    Sounds right, technically I quess it would be: Right click on Start then click Explore.
    Then follow the pathway...like here is the first one:
    C:\Documents and Settings\
    Spiderman\
    My Documents\
    My Downloads\
    clickstart.exe/clickstart.exe Infected: not-virus:BadJoke.Win32.RJL.b skipped
    (delete the files in red)

    Now we know it is supposed to be there, if you run into an issues then it's:

    Start > Search > All Files and Folders > clickstart.exe for the location

    You have to be patient with Search Companion, can take a while, that why I usually avoid Search Companion unless I am stuck

    Well I got 6 of them deleted, going to have to search for the other 2. They are:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Spiderman\My Documents\My Downloads\clickstart.exe ZIP: infected - 1 skipped
    I found C:\Documents and Settings\Spiderman\My Documents\My Downloads\clickstart.exe, but no zip?

    and

    C:\WINDOWS\dob.cab/mobsync.exe Infected: Trojan.Win32.Agent.lf skipped
    I found C:\WINDOWS\dob.cab CAB, but nothing with the "/mobsync.exe" extension.

    I tried searching through "My Computer" and right clicking on Start and explore, but couldnt find those 2. I guess its off to Search Companion yaay...

    Ive never had much luck with it either.

    Thanks so much again. Ill let you know if I find them. If I do (find and delete them) should I follow up with another 2 hour Kaspersky scan?
