I went to the FAQ section and did everything as instructed and I still get.
"Link to missing Esport USER32.DLL: End menu"
AND
"Create system failed; code 31
A device attached to the system is not functioning"

I don't know what actions you took but Spybot 1.4 does not work on a Windows 95 system. You must uninstall Spybot 1.4 and install Spybot 1.3.
You can find a copy of the spybotsd13.exe installation program here:

Spybot should run on W95. Got the same message several month ago. So I went back to 1.3. Just checked the Spybot website, they changed the FAQ on the W95 problem. There a some more software you have to install, can`t tell you if it then works cause I use no more W95.Originally Posted by strategy101

Pls. post here if it works!
Biskalar:
Thank you. I was not aware if the additions to FAQ#11:
Is it possible to run Spybot-S&D under Windows 95? (ws2_32.dll missing, EReadError)?

I'm on XP so I have no way to verify of Spybot 1.4 will run on Windows 95 with those additions.
However according to this article the minimum operating systems for the EndMenu Function are Windows 98, Windows 2000:
EndMenu Function

It didn't for me, still getting the same error.:(Originally Posted by Biskalar
Before you install Version 1.4 you have to deinstall Version 1.3 and also delete the regestry entries (you can download it on the Spybot website.Originally Posted by strategy101
If you done all this than it seems that's a problem with supporting all the OS-Systems and languages (W95-XP). I'm not a Softwaredeveloper so my knowledge is limited in that.
Found this on the Microrsoft website and this on the older Spybot-Forum.

But please, this is no hint to install it!

I think they know about it and maybe they will fix it with a newer Version (1.4?) and if not, hey you can run Version 1.3!
But anyway "The Spybot Team" doing great job and W95 user have no limitation since Version 1.3 works fine. And let me say "Never change a running system until you have to!"
ABSOLUTELY nothing works, I've tried everything. My old system blew out and my sister gave me this Dell from work. It's the Bomb, but its running windows 95.
oh well, I guess I need to upgrade the windows to something else.
thanks for all your help
any suggestions??
Try to reload Spybot 1.3 and use that.

What is really your problem???? As md usa... and i stated before use Spybot Version 1.3!!!!! That works fine with Windows95!!!!Originally Posted by strategy101
IT WORKED!!!!!
1.3 worked. I think I wasn't closing down all my programs, or I had to delete 1.4 whatever.
thanks peeps.
Yet, here is the deal....
When I first posted. I wasn't infected. Now I'm REALLY infected. when I log on my Internet Explorer redirects me to a spyware software program and tell me I'm infected.
1.3 won't get rid of it.
How do I proceed.
thanks in advance.
