removing spybot

i need to remove spybot but am getting an error message stating a file does not exist and that the program can't be removed.please help

obviously you have two threads going
try the removal page that was posted
It appears that the uninstaller has been trashed
Does more than one SPYBOT entry appear in add remove programs?
and when you tried to remove you got the error message- right?
try the small fix in the linked page
if that does not work
reboot
install latest version
reboot
and then go to Add remove programs and try it again
the re-installation will replace the missing uninstall program
reboot
small fix
reboot

AND WHY DO YOU NEED TO REMOVE IN THE FIRST PLACE?
Updating, conflict, slow etc

If above suggestions and those in other thread do not work
What version are we trying to remove?
Is an update to a previous version (s) involved?
give all the usual OS, AV, Firewall info
NOW
is there more than one AV or Antispyware running in real time or starting at boot?
Was there previously another AV than the one you have now installed even one that came pre-installed ?
Any reason to think that you might be infected with something?
